...My personal favorite tactic is to ask leading questions to my students to guide them into answering questions themselves without giving away the answers. I believe when students feel like they earned their knowledge and avoid frustration, they can begin to start having fun with the learning process. ...By connecting the material to their experience, theoretical concepts are easier for them to grasp. I am also experienced in error diagnosis, to find the specific area of difficulty in a concept and draw that out for the student, so we can work on the root of any difficulty. I have tutored several college students and returning students successfully in the GMAT, as well as similar tests. (read more)
