...When explaining topics that students are unfamiliar with, I try as much as I can to relate to real world scenarios. My specialty topics are Physics, Calculus, Precalculus, as well as SAT and ACT math.I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. ...Some consider Math and Engineering to be mainly formulas and concepts to be memorized. My suggestion is that the different formulas and concepts should be considered tools to use. A carpenter has many tools, and learns to use them effectively to complete the task at hand. (read more)
