David Z. ...I have used it professionally doing signal processing using MATLAB. The benefit of MATLAB over other languages is in processing matrices, and processing matrices is what linear algebra is all about. I believe that I am qualified to teach this at the college level due to having with a PhD in physics as well as class and professional experience.
