...I try to adapt to the learning style that works best for students. For chess this might simply be playing through a guided game, but it could also turn out that explaining strategy in a way that an elementary school student can understand works better. As for math, breaking down the problem into smaller steps might work well for one student, but maybe a visual aid is better for another. (read more)
