It is a wonderful introduction to proofs as well as foundational trigonometry that will set the stage for calculus and other deeper applied mathematics. While teaching at an international school in India I had the privilege of teaching Pre-Algebra for a number of years.

I also passed the Engineer-in-Training Exam (Fundamentals of Eng'g) of California with just one try, and without attending any review classes.

Hamid D. ...In a calculus class there is no time to reteach algebra, geometry, algebra 2. Students are faced with new knowledge that has all previous math subjects as prerequisites. The challenge is not so much that students do not know Algebra1, Geometry, etc.
