...My goal in teaching is to give kids the ability to be self-sufficient. Many kids lack the self-confidence needed in order to succeed in school subjects. I would like to impart these things upon each of my students, so that when they see a new problem that they don't know how to solve, they think through it rather than giving up or relying on others for the solution.
