I have worked mostly with college students on general chemistry, organic chemistry, and algebra, but I am also able to tutor other math classes, including precalculus or geometry. Despite working with mostly college students I have had a great relationship with many middle and high school students. As a tutor, I enjoy building a student's confidence and ability to learn independently. (read more)
...When I volunteered at a park last summer to help watch kids while parents worked, I enjoyed when the students would pick up books and ask to read to me. They would read as I listened and gently corrected them into pronouncing words the right way. It was very fulfilling for me to help the kids and they also enjoyed it. (read more)
