James W. ...I am a parent myself and I have also worked with youth groups for many years, so there is a comfort level with teens ---I don't find them strange, intimidating, or unapproachable. They recognize my genuine interest in them as individuals and we usually develop a good rapport. This is even more important in a tutoring setting than in a classroom.
