My undergraduate degree in Computer Science is from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology where I took engineering courses, including advanced calculus and physics with the EE students. ...I completed course work and the research required for a PhD in physics. My research at UNC-Charlotte included construction and use of near-field scanning optical microscopes and automated spectral measurements and analysis of photoluminescence from porous silicon.
