...I had a case like that once with calculus student. It was costing the student time on his exam, and therefore his grades. We worked a couple hours a week for few months as he prepared for his IB exams (International Baccalaureate, like AP). Having that consistent feedback and practice eventually helped him earn good passing grades in the class, as well as on his IB exam. (read more)
