...As these classes are widely dreaded and commonly failed, I worked hard to find novel and fun teaching methods to explain the concepts and help each student succeed. Instead of helping my students memorize facts that will promptly be forgotten, I seek to teach the principles in a way that will make sense to each student. ...There is a lot to learn, but my systems will teach you to generate the information needed, rather than trying to memorize several pages of formulas. Statistics is a lot more about understanding terminology than difficult or new calculations. It can be quite difficult to keep them all straight. (read more)
...I am expert in physics as well as all mathematics and achieved an A+ in Algebra 2, Vector Calculus, and General Physics. Moreover I have tutored over 200 students in Algebra 2 and they all reached their goals! In addition, my thesis for physics was in optics, so hyperbolas, ellipses, parabolas are my bread and butter. ...I grew up speaking Malay, which is very similar to Indonesian. I have many years of experience teaching another language as a foreign language. I still frequently speak the language amongst my Malaysian and Indonesian friends. (read more)
