...My 780 on the SAT math section was due to not reviewing one concept (matrices) before going into the exam, and I therefore ran out of time while solving that problem. I will ensure that every student knows each of the types of problems and has mastered them in order to maximize their score on the SAT math section. I helped one of my classmates improve his understanding of the material over the second half of the semester. ...I used to volunteer to mentor 5th/6th grade students through a program called Higher Achievement. I've found it really fun and rewarding, and got interested in tutoring because of this!
