...I have been learning Algebra since my math teacher mom gave me simple problems to do to keep me quiet as a seven year old in church. I was accelerated in math when I hit junior high, and finished Algebra I, II, and Geometry by the time I finished eighth grade. I've tutored off and on since then, and I'm able to explain the concepts in everyday language that isn't too heavy with math jargon. (read more)

...Before teaching in my current district, Newport, I worked as a 4th grade teacher in the Cumberland Valley School District, a 2nd grade teacher at the Milton Hershey School and an Elementary Science teacher at the Milton Hershey School.
