That means actually trying problems, taking practice tests, and then reviewing areas of difficulty and discussing how best to improve. ...I have obtained a perfect GRE Quantitative score, which is analogous to the GMAT. I have been studying probability and statistics in my PhD for the last five years, and have been tutoring for nearly a decade. I scored a perfect 36 on the Math section and have tutored students to many perfect scores, and overall scores as high as 34. (read more)
...Especially one-on-one tutoring. When I tell people I majored in mathematics, usually the response it, "ugh, I HATE math." But that's a shame, because mathematics is a beautiful thing. And I think through one-on-one tutoring, I can help give people that spark. (read more)
