...I find that just dictating steps is not good enough. What's way more beneficial is to logically think through the problems---Math is very unique in that there are often multiple ways to solve problems. In most instances, it's not about the route you take to get to the destination--just that you get there in an acceptable manner and time. (read more)

My teaching philosophy emphasizes on providing students with a strong fundamental understanding of mathematics and giving them a considerable degree of freedom.
