...I continually observe what works well (or doesn't work well) for my students in order to make our sessions as interesting and helpful as possible. How would it feel to be the first student to raise your hand in class to answer a question? If you ask me, that feeling sure beats the nasty "sinking feeling" we discussed earlier. (read more)

I have a Master's of Science degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University. After 20 years in the corporate world, I have been an Assistant Professor at a local university for 12.5 years.
