...I completed all of Aquinas College's reading instruction courses but chose to receive my degree in elementary education and not reading specialization. That was mostly due to how schools might classify my credentials and limit my employment options. ...I have tutored elementary math, middle school math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus which includes high schoolers and college students. Most of these experiences include helping students with homework, reviewing hard content, and studying for tests. I have also tutored the ACT and helped a student increase their score by 4 points. ...It's very enjoyable to get to help teachers who then help their students. I also get to provide support throughout the year for these teachers by clarifying concepts and helping them debug their students code. I also play guitar (for most of my life now) and have been learning a lot more about music theory. (read more)
