...It's cool to see so many people new to programming using it to try something totally new. I studied algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, and computer hardware in college. ...I have tutored many students who are preparing for their GED tests at the Omega School in Madison, WI. I have my ASVAB students work with sample ASVAB tests in those areas that they need to learn. We can then determine which areas that are giving them difficulty for us to explore further. (read more)
...I enjoy tutoring when it helps a student both raise their grades. but also gain more confidence. Since there's more than one way to solve a problem, I will teach the different approaches that best suit my students.
