By having the student explain their own thoughts guide the session, I believe that it causes them to understand information at a faster rate. ...I think it is important to get to know a student and figure out their best method of learning and go from there. Sometimes it is just a matter of teaching the basic skills needed in a way that is different and fun. I believe in using a lot of movement, music and rhyme to help students master basic skills upon which they can build reading and writing skills. (read more)
