...I try to influence my students to do the same because speaking properly and writing well will always be a skill they will need in life. Most students ask why it is they have to learn a subject or how they will ever use it, and I enjoy teaching grammar and vocabulary specifically because of how much we use it in life. I have passed four of the Casualty Actuarial Society exams which rely heavily on probability and statistics and are extremely difficult.
