...I present the subject matter with a lesson plan, and at the end of each lesson I review the relevant material by asking questions and giving quizzes on material learned in order to solidify understanding and foster critical thinking. This is not the only way, though. I am also very flexible in ways of tutoring as every student has his own ways of learning and different needs. (read more)

The student sees the worked solution and thinks they can solve it, but can’t do so on the test. Or they know how to solve it one way, but the slightest change in question wording throws them off.
