I've always been interested in foreign languages and other cultures. While living in New York City, I hosted many international visitors and always enjoyed coaching them on their English. ...In a typical Math Seminar, students brought math problems to class that they were struggling with. The class, then, discussed the mathematical concepts concerned and solved the problem together. When tutoring or leading the math seminar, I aim to understand the concept first and then explain it to the struggling student. (read more)
