In 2004, I received an A.A.A. degree in music, summa cum laude, from NVCC in Alexandria, VA.I have a Master's in Music Composition from Hunter College/CUNY in New York City. ...It gives them a voice with me as their teacher/tutor, and it makes the process of tutoring more of a "we" effort than a "me" effort. I enjoy what I do and I love explaining math concepts to students and seeing the "lightbulb" go on. I am patient with my students, seeking to encourage them in any ways that I can, but I am also firm with them in that I do make them work. (read more)
