Kara Z. ...I was a teaching assistant in an introductory engineering class. I have also done a course in cadet teaching in which I taught math to 5th graders. I believe there is more than one way to explain math concepts so that if a student doesn't grasp the way it is presented in class, I can find an alternate way of explaining it.

David R. ...The easiest way to learn is to understand a few basic principles, and how to reason from them to solve a wide variety of problems. Homework is more fun when it can be done more quickly. Test performance is greatly improved, because, knowing the basic principles, the student can deal with whatever the teacher asks.
