Philip P. ...Calculus I is primarily concerned with understanding the idea of a derivative, techniques of derivation and applications of derivatives. Calculus 2 covers integration in the same manner. In order to do well, students must UNDERSTAND the concepts presented not merely “get the answer.” I have had great success teaching the concepts as well as the mechanics in a fun and interesting way.
