I was born and raised in Germany, where I earned a Master's Degree and a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from one of the top Universities. I started working for a large, multi-national company and took the opportunity to transfer to the U.S. some 25 years ago. ...With hard work and extra help, many students have the ability to not only pass the AP exam but can do extremely well - even get a high qualifying score of a 5! I currently teach high school geometry and am introducing the new Common Core curriculum in my school. I love to work with high school students and believe they all have the ability to be successful in math with the right tools. (read more)
...Sometimes, they can be stuck only for a reason that they had missed certain concepts. I can always pull a couple questions to check when I see if there was a pre-existing issue that a student would need some attention. This way, they're more willing and happy to go on with lessons, and learn what they need to. (read more)
