...Chemistry is definitely my favorite subject. People struggle with fundamental concept because in most cases they seemed abstract, but there are actually not that abstract once explained well. ...Part of what got me into my field of study was my desire to help others. Statistics, to me, is all about translating numbers into understandable concepts for people who don't necessarily enjoy mathematics. This means it's very close to tutoring. (read more)
...As a graduate student, I was awarded a 'teaching fellowship' for teaching excellence. I believe that my experience since then has only made me a better teacher. I bring a combination of graduate-level education in math and economics and real-world work experience in both fields. (read more)
...I do, however, have a 24-hour cancellation policy to help me schedule to help as many students as possible. For in-person lessons, I usually meet students in local libraries - either on one of the university campuses or at one in the public library system - but depending on circumstances, I may be able to meet elsewhere.
