...Having exact dates isn’t as important as knowing what happened, why it happened, and how it effected the world. If students are able to focus more on why they are learning what they are learning then they will be more motivated to learn it, whether it is history, math, or science. I believe in giving kids purpose behind their learning to make it meaningful and worth their time. (read more)

...I also am constantly either guiding them through the steps or having them guide me through the steps as the constant verbalization keeps them on track and lets me know quicker when their brain has wandered.
