...Possibly borrow the student's mathematical text book before you tutor them to refresh you memory of the lessons and brush up on your own skills. The absolute worst thing that can happen to you while tutoring is to not understand what you are trying to teach. 3) Clarity. You need to explain the problems slowly and clearly, so you do not confuse the student even more than he or she already is. (read more)
