...In my experience when an individual seeks out a tutor, more information is not what they need or want. If you have a teacher or a textbook, then you have all the information. What my clients usually need, rather is someone to affirm for them that they have synthesized that information correctly, clear up misconceptions as they arise, and help develop a mental framework for new information.
