...For me history has a way to present solutions to some modern issues. I also believe that history is a way to see large scale patterns that are very applicable to our own lives. Connecting the past to the present was a useful skill that I learned that allowed me to win two class rewards in social studies in high school, as well as give me a better understanding of the modern world.
