I believe that everyone has the ability to learn Math. Not everyone has the easiest time learning it in a classroom setting, of course, but I can honestly say I never tutored anyone who didn't understand the material after a little one-on-one explanation. I like to meet a student where they are, emphasize their strengths, and build on the knowledge and understanding they already have. (read more)
...I scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of the GRE (Graduate Records Exam) which is essentially the same as the SAT math test. I help students break test questions into a logical sequence of smaller problems to arrive at the final results. Analyzing and understanding the questions is the major part of taking standardized tests, so I concentrate on that skill. (read more)
