...When teaching, I feel that my style was a lot more hands-on involvement from my students along with individual work. I liked having the students help me complete problems and then once I felt that they would succeed on their own I allowed for them to work individually. This way they could test their knowledge, skills, and understanding of the material. (read more)
...I enjoy the subject because it draws many mathematical concepts together. I also recognize that the subject challenges students as it transitions them to a new tier of mathematical thinking. My tutoring style helps students recognize the connections between what they know and what they're learning, which in turn builds self-confidence so that they can learn more. (read more)
