I've been programming since I got my first taste of it running BASIC on a TRS-80 Color Computer in the late-80's. Graphics and animation is what got me excited about computers in the first place and I still enjoy working with technologies in that area, such as OpenGL. ...I want always to be kind and listen to what the student wants and requires and work with student, not just lecture. I have taught students from all ages between 5 years old to adults in their forties. My senior year of college, I took a math class in probability where we learned how to generate that table from scratch. One of my favorite things about probability is how it can surprise people who think that something is obviously false, but it's true. (read more)
