...Secondly, most subjects (e.g. organic chemistry) place a huge emphasis on building on what you've learned before. So if you have a shaky foundation when beginning a completely new topic, you're going to have a tough time understanding this foreign idea. Thus, I make it of the utmost importance that my students truly understand one concept before I move onto the next one. (read more)
