...My teaching philosophies are very community-based. I prioritize creating comfortable spaces for people to be vulnerable and make mistakes. There’s a big stigma, especially in math settings, where people are led to believe that they aren’t good at a subject because they are them. (i.e. “I’m not a math person.”) I believe this way of thinking is very flawed. (read more)

...Presently and throughout my college career, I worked as a teacher’s aid in labs and have even taught entire labs on my own. The subjects I am most comfortable tutoring in are Geology, French, Algebra/Trigonometry, Biology and Chemistry.
