...From there I started downloading qbasic programs from AOL, modifying them and figuring out how they worked. I went on to teach myself Java, VBA, and bits of C and C++. I later prototyped my startup's app in C#, became a Ruby on Rails developer for a while, and now use LookML and Python regularly! There are more languages I've used but these are the big ones. ...I had taken a photo darkroom class in 8th grade with pinhole cameras and fixer, but I got really experienced with digital photography as I trained with really experienced red carpet and fashion photographers I had met as a model. My first pro digital camera I got was the Canon Rebel xti/2ti. I now own and use a Canon 7D which also has video capability. (read more)
