By simplifying the problems for students often they are able to take each problem step by step and often make connections through the process which makes the monster of a problem not seem as terrifying. Some of my students have increased their scores in the math section by ten points, including someone who earned a 35 with some strategic adjustments. Standardized tests like the Accuplacer are hard to study for independently, but different programs are using them for admissions more and more.
