...Along with chemistry these foundation are the backbone of chemical engineering. In graduate school I also studied using partial differential equations to solve engineering problems. In one research project I used differential equations to develop models to more accurately control reactors dissolving spent nuclear fuel elements in hydrofluoric acid. (read more)
