...Linear algebra is among my favorite subjects to teach because it combines many concepts of algebraic math. I help students by exposing them to different kinds of problems. Examples of problems include: finding the slope when two points are given, how to determine whether two lines are perpendicular or parallel, and finding the equation of lines when only a point and the slope are given. ...As you can tell, math is a subject I love learning about because you think you know everything about a particular concept and then you'll realize that its only the foundation of something greater. Ironically, having the foundation is a challenge for some students. The student might believe that he/she doesn't understand anything about the concept. (read more)
