I have taught/teaching physics and math at universities and colleges in Indiana for over 7 years . I have a PhD in physics. I love to help students in understanding Math and Physics concepts and prepare for them to achieve a strong foundation in those subjects and get higher scores. ...I have experience tutoring grades K-9 and specific topics such as Geometry, Trig, Algebra I & II, and Pre-Calculus up to Calculus 2. One of my best skills is breaking down complicated parts of topics into ways kids can understand and relate to, making it easier for them to grasp the subject. ...To me, tutoring any subject is about so much more than showing students how to solve specific problems. Learning any subject means learning a new way of thinking. My job is primarily to help the student identify what misconceptions or difficulties are preventing them from thinking about the subject the way that an expert would. (read more)
