...I successfully completed the state certification exit exam (Praxis II) in Special Education receiving a 191 out of 200. And, in particular, I have worked with (3) 12th grade students who were failing most or some of their classes who had special needs at the beginning of their final year. I received a Bachelor in Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I then went on to earn an MD from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, after which I decided to pursue high school science teaching.
