...Recently, one of my students scored a 90% on a test that the rest of his class averaged a 60% on. I had only tutored him for 3 hours at that point! On the test before that, I helped him score an 81% while his class averaged 40%!
He eventually sent one of his classmates to get tutoring lessons from me, and another one of his classmates actually sought me out and found me on her own. (read more)
...For me the most challenging thing is to explain the importance of math in everyday's life and how much we use it on a daily basis. Once student understands that, math learning process becomes much more interesting and gaining new skills, more fun. Algebra 2 as a subject is the cornerstone for any student who wants to move on to a Precalculus and Calculus level. (read more)
