I graduated from Hofstra Honors College this past Spring. I finished with a 3.76 GPA being listed on the Magna Cum Laude list (GPA:3.75+), and I earned a B/S in Chemistry. Starting in June 2015, I assisted many of my friends who were struggling with subjects related to Chemistry and Physics and showed them many breakdowns to problems that could be approached in a more simple way. I give my all to each student and create individualized study sheets and extra homework assignments geared at helping students excel in areas they feel weak in. ...I focus on creative problem solving and practical applications in my teaching. In math there are a multitude of ways to solve problems and therefore many ways to explain any mathematical concept. If a student hits a wall with a particular strategy, I will pivot to a different method. (read more)
