I tutored at Kumon for a year where I taught math and reading to students from elementary school all the way to high school. ...When one reads well, understanding grows. I find that teaching reading by means of phonetics is the best way for someone to learn. When one just tries to memorize a specific word, it only serves them well if they see that particular word again. (read more)
