...When I work with students who need help with math I first focus on listening closely to diagnose where the blockers are. I break down complex math tasks to individual skills, zeroing in on those blockers and helping the student to remove them. With the blockers understood and addressed we can then build up the remaining skills to get back to the complex task that the student needs to master. (read more)
