...I ask students to take the math sections, time them accurately, and practice using the bubble sheets in order for them to have optimized test practice. If there are certain topics that a student struggles with, I review the topic material with them and then assign specific practice problems to enhance their skills in that area. ...Trigonometry is introduced in Geometry, and extended in Algebra II, Advanced Functions & Modeling, and Pre-Calculus. I have taught many sections of these courses, and I'm effective in growing the student's knowledge and use of trig. As a former engineer, I can further their understanding of trig by linking its use to real life. (read more)
...My philosophy of math is that "Math is a skill-based Subject." That means it must be practiced repeatedly.
