...Another student I worked with starting in 6th grade did very well on her standardized tests which gained her admission to LSU. I am still working with her - she will graduate this December. As far as hands-on experience with the TAKS test goes, I worked for a brief time (about a year) with the Houston Independent School District in the Research and Accountability department. (read more)
...As an undergraduate, I was employed as a tutor for the Texas Interdisciplinary Program, an honors program at UT Austin. I have been tutoring all levels of calculus for years, starting in High School and continuing through to now as a PhD student. I scored top marks (5) on both English Language and Literature AP tests and scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT writing section. (read more)
