...I did this through high school, worked as a 1:1 for my younger son through eighth grade with additional tutoring after school, and then homeschooled him in high school. Both were able to complete math through Algebra 2 and Geometry and ended up with academic awards. ...I want to find out where you're at, what you understand and don't understand, and how you feel about what you're studying. Sometimes students are completely lost and we need to go all the way back to the beginning, but just as often, they only need some gaps filled in, and some concepts strengthened. ...Every Thursday, during my junior year of college for 12-weeks I held a cellular neurology discussion. During the one-hour discussions, I went over assignments and answered any questions the students posed.
