I would want the students to work hard, go through the class notes, chapters that he/she going to be tutored. It would let me know that students are interested in learning. I cannot solve all the problems, but I would try to help concentrate the students on how to solve problems without solving it. (read more)

...As my children went through high school and college and ran into difficulties with calculus, I came to realize how much poor teaching could do to hinder the understanding of calculus. Very often, such teaching can make the concepts more confusing than they actually are. Since then, I have tutored many high school and college students in AP calculus and Calculus I, II and III. ...This year, I am taking 5 more APs as well as Multivariable Calculus. As far as standardized tests are concerned, I have received an 800 on the SAT math section as well as a 780 on the Reading and Writing portion.
